The Itasca County public data-request portal is the current online route for an exact record. The Itasca Records Division is at 108 NE 5th Street in Grand Rapids and can be reached at 218-327-7472 on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Use the current portal or call before sending material from the older PDF form because that form lists a former physical address.
For one person, provide the full name, date of birth if known, and approximate booking date. Ask for the existing custody record with the admission time, booking identifier, release time, disposition, authority, and public receiving-agency field. For everyone recorded as leaving during one day, state exact beginning and ending timestamps. Do not demand that the county create a custom daily list. Minnesota law does not require an agency to create data or arrange it in a form the agency does not keep.

A narrow request helps the custodian locate the right event and perform classification review. Inspection of public data is free. Copy charges may apply, and a request for prepared summary data can involve an estimate and prepayment.
